br>The regatta winds along 32 km, from the lagoon in front of S. Markto the northern islands of the lagoon (Vignole, Sant' Erasmo, San Francesco del Deserto, Burano, Mazzorbo, Madonna del Monte, San Giacomo in Paludo, Murano) and then drives on by the historical centre sailing through Rio di Canareggio to Punta della Dogana.

br>Cavallino-Treporti, the second Sunday of May: Palio Remiero delle Contrade
br>The rowing competition was originated by improvised races, that the farmers made every day at the daybreak with their Caorline full of vegetables and fruits, in order to arrive first to Rialto and have much more possibilities to sell their products. In fact, the boats are decorated with vegetables and fruits in season and in each Contrada organizes celebrations.
br>The Contrade, which take part to the Palio Remiero, are: Faro Piave Vecchia, Cavallino, Ca' di Valle, Ca' Ballarin, Ca' Pasquali, Ca' Vio, Ca' Savio, Punta Sabbioni, Treporti, Saccagnana, Mesole, Lio Piccolo.

br>A Saturday of August: Beach on Fire – 12 km of fireworks
br>Beach on Fire is one of the most awaited and prestigious events which take place in the North Adriatic, organized at the end of the summer for tanking the several guests who every year chose to spend their holidays in the coast of Cavallino-Treporti. Beach on Fire is a firework made by 12 synchronized shot position, located along 13 km coastline.
SEPTEMBER
br>First Sunday of September: Historical Regatta of Venice
br>This traditional meeting consists of two moments: the historical cortege and the regattas. The historical cortege celebrate the welcome of Venice to Caterina Cornaro, the wife of the King of Cyphrus, who in 1498 renounced her kingdom in favour of Venice. The crew of the 16th century boat cortege wears wonderful historical costumes and sails along the Canal Grande.
